Keeping the environment clean and green doesn’t really mean only recycling or buying organic. In corporate world, more and more companies are including green thinking strategy in their growth plans and day to day performances. Executives who are responsible for such strategies give a hard thought to various ways of going paperless, decreasing carbon footprint and incorporating energy saving process in their business practices. Twitter Hyprocrites: Don’t be one
Do the people you follow at Twitter, follow you back? It’s perfectly alright if they are not as you can’t really follow everyone and read everything that’s gets tweeted (unless that’s your job and getting paid for it) or if you don’t have anything common or find interesting. But does everyone have a clean reason for not following or are there other factors. May be perhaps there are some users who have double standards when it comes to following. Based on my observation, I have categorized the follow process into five persona’s that form Twitter Hypocrisy.

Social Influence and Polymorphism
The quality of being made of many different individuals, diversity and opinions makes social media influential and expandable in this day and age of digital business. Social marketing’s entry to the mainstream has created a true consumer to business engagement driven by people’s influential powers. Social campaigns that were seeded in 2008, blossomed in early 2009 and will get pollinated very quickly through 2010. The main reason for that is “people influencing people” and has become the new strategy for marketers. This strategy extracts attention with ease. A way that reaches out to every new and future member of a social community automatically with minimal effort. A tactic that markets continuously as long as the social channel exists and grows, without end or interruption. We are seeing some trend shifts and companies who are introducing the influence component in the mix with other pillars of brand marketing and direct response.

In the last few months, the entire face of web has changed rapidly in terms of how its audience engage themselves and communicate with each other. Information has become conversations, visitors have become followers and what used to be generally an email exchange now has become a tweet. Whether we call it human network or something else, the simple old concept of society, culture and it’s existence has based it’s home in the world of web. So did this all happen in just 2 days or it took years? well there were many front runners in social media and networking for the past few years. Even though the evolution has been gradual but nothing compares to the shift in paradigm that we have seen in the last 6-8 months especially due to Twitter and it’s growing popularity.
